About SportsLab360
SportsLab360 was founded by Nick Manzoni and Thomas Poll as they were entering their senior year at Drake University. With the help of various pitch competitions and other small grants here and there, they were able to launch and grow SportsLab360 Soccer from nothing to over 30,000 active users in over 20 countries. After the success of SportsLab360 Soccer, and with the help of some great minds in the basketball space, SportsLab360 Basketball launched in 2022.
At SportsLab360, we wholeheartedly believe that a player should develop physically, technically,andpsychologically. We also believe that the decision-making and IQ component of a player’s development is of equal importance. After seeing the results of SportsLab360 in the soccer world, our team was beyond excited to keep the momentum going, expanding the platform to provide the same opportunity to basketball players around the globe.
About the Owner
Nicholas Manzoni
Founder
At the age of 17, Nick was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer that put his life and his future soccer career in the balance. After nine months of treatment and three surgeries, he was able to recover what was lost and eventually played four years at the Division 1 level. Because physical activity was not possible during his treatment, he found other ways to continue to develop as a player; he became a student of the game, taking any opportunity he had to further his tactical education and understanding. It was from this experience that the SportsLab360 mission took shape.
After seeing the impact that SportsLab360 Soccer had on its users, Nick knew that this was a platform that needed to be created for basketball and beyond. So, he recruited a team of experts to build a platform designed to do just that, empowering basketball players around the world to make smarter and quicker decisions on the court. Whether it is soccer, basketball, or whatever is coming next, Nick is passionate to create the most impactful user experience for all athletes using SportsLab360.
